Welcome to our website! Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church is a parish community in the Detroit Metropolis of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America under the jurisdiction of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Constantinople, that area of the world originally missionized by Saint Andrew the First-Called Apostle of Christ. Please put your cursor over “Parish” along the top of this home page and scroll down to learn more “About Us,” to “Find Us,” and for information regarding “Visiting Our Parish.” Click on “Contact” if you wish to communicate with us via e-mail.

Our parish community takes its name from that event recorded in the gospel according to Saint Luke the Evangelist (1:26-38) wherein God sent the Archangel Gabriel to announce (hence “Annunciation”) to the Virgin Mary, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women ... you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus.”

Once again, we welcome you to our parish website and pray your visit is beneficial!
